What is Hypnotherapy?
Have you ever thought about why when you
attempted to consciously change your motivation in
order to get rid of bad habits, fears, phobias, or
thoughts they seem to return? The reason for this is
that these bad habits, fears, phobias, and thoughts
are stored in the subconscious rather than conscious
mind. So how can someone access the subconscious
to change their motivation? The answer is
hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy which
utilizes hypnosis as a therapeutic technique to allow
modification of behavior by suggestion. During this
natural state of consciousness the subconscious mind
is highly responsive to suggestions. This allows for
any unwanted motivation to be changed to the
motivation the person seeks. During a hypnotherapy
session the person is not under the control of the
hypnotherapist. A hypnotherapist simply serves as a
facilitator to guide them.
